Good Afternoon Heads, Directors, Advisors and Curriculum Representatives-


I am resending this email from the spring as we have some new folks who may not have received it.


 The Bart Cardon Academy for Teaching Excellence is calling for outstanding faculty to be nominated for teaching awards for the 2022/2023 award cycle: the Bart Cardon Early Career Faculty Teaching Award, the Bart Cardon Sustained Excellence in Teaching Award, and the David E. Cox Faculty Teaching Award. All application materials and descriptions of these awards can be found at https://compass.arizona.edu/faculty/awards. Applications are due by 5pm on September 15th, 2023 and award recipients will be announced in October. Previous award recipients are listed here: https://compass.arizona.edu/awards/recipients. For more information, please contact Jim Hunt (jeh at email.arizona.edu<mailto:jeh at email.arizona.edu>) and/or Betsy Arnold (arnold at ag.arizona.edu<mailto:arnold at ag.arizona.edu>). All awardees will be presented with a plaque at the Fall all CALES meeting and receive an honorarium.
