We have a lot of new advisors in CALS and it would be great if you could come to our meeting on April 11th from 10:15 to 11am and let us know all of the wonderful things we need to be aware of for math placement and other math rules, because even us old timers can barely keep things straight.  Here are some topics that might be good to include:


  1.  Math placement test score vs. grade in math 100 and SAS 100AX
  2.  How long test scores are good for
  3.  How long a class lasts as a prereq for another class (e.g., math 112 as a prereq to math 113, especially if that 112 is in as transfer credit)
  4.  Anything new for priority reg and next year/new math classes, etc.
  5.  Maybe even walk us through the advisors page on the math website

And any other common questions you get from us advisors!
