[Agvisors] CALS Career Center: Student Support

Hello Agvisors:

I'm happy to share that the CALS Career Center now has additional support: Amanda Bogden<https://career.cals.arizona.edu/our-team/#amanda-bogden> is available 5 hours a week during the Spring semester (with the exception of Spring Break) for student appointments, primarily resume and cover letter review. Amanda is pursuing a Ph.D in Higher Education with a focus on promoting student career readiness and job placement/workplace satisfaction. Amanda is also a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Agricultural Education, Technology & Innovation.

Students can schedule with Amanda through eSMS: student.esms.arizona.edu

  *   Appointments tab
  *   Add Appointment
  *   Department = College of Ag & Life Sciences
  *   Appointment type = Career and Professional Development Coaching
  *   Then select the 30-minute time slot that works best (note: appointment availability is scheduled two weeks out)



Also, please note that when Amanda or I meet with a student for a document review we're asking the student to upload their drafts to eSMS<student.esms.arizona.edu> prior to the meeting. Steps to upload are:

  *   Docs tab
  *   "Add"
  *   Select document type (Cover Letter or Resume - if both, please upload the documents separately)
  *   "Save"
