[Agvisors] Supporting women of color in STEM

The National Association of Sciences, Engineering, Medicine (NASEM) has published a report that provides recommendations for the advancement of women of color in STEM fields, titled "Transforming Trajectories for Women of Color in Tech<file:///C:/Users/jmratje/AppData/Local/Temp/26345.pdf>."  NASEM is also hosting a national symposium to discuss the findings and develop pathways to implementation on March 16, 9am-1pm MST. Shane shared this opportunity with the D&I Council.  We discussed and feel this report would help us to recognize gaps and remove barriers to the success of women of color in our degree programs.

CAS will be hosting a briefing on the STEM professional pipeline later in the semester.  Information from the NASEM report and symposium may be supportive of this later event.
