Hello Agvisors: I'm excited to share that Amanda Bogden started on Monday, June 27 in her new full-time position as Career Development Coordinator. In this role, Amanda will split her time between direct student support (appointments, workshops, etc) and career data collection and analysis (e.g. internships, job placement, exit surveys, etc).

Amanda is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Higher Education. Her academic interests include college programs that promote student career readiness and job placement/workplace satisfaction. Prior to moving to Tucson, Amanda worked for 5 years in California's commercial agricultural industry, specializing in seed production. During this time, she worked for leading global seed companies including Bayer Crop Science, Syngenta, and Sakata Seeds America. In Spring 2022, Amanda was also a Graduate Assistant in the Career Center.

Amanda is temporarily officed in Forbes 204C (the Career Center Interview Room 2). Amanda is available 20 hours a week for student appointments including resume and cover letter review, job search and application support, interview prep, etc. Students can schedule appointments with Amanda through eSMS<student.esms.arizona.edu> or, if they can't find a slot that works for them, can email her directly at bogdena at email.arizona.edu. <mailto:bogdena at email.arizona.edu.%20>
