Commencement and Ceremonies Team is looking for volunteers for this years university wide commencement.

It will be a long day but I'll be volunteering after our College Convocation if you would like to join!

Campus Community,

It's almost here! Commencement 2022 is Friday, May 13 and we need you!

As a volunteer, you are part of a community that is instrumental in delivering an unforgettable experience to graduating students, their families, and their friends.

On Commencement day, you can expect to work from 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. While positions vary, the majority require volunteers to be outdoors with minimal shade and perform physical tasks such as holding signage, directing graduates and guests, handing out event programs, and distributing water bottles. Please note, volunteers may be asked to enforce safety policies, such as keeping aisles clear and directing non-wheelchair guests to appropriate seating areas. If you have concerns about performing such tasks, please let us know using the volunteer form linked below.

All volunteers are required to watch a training video prior to Commencement. The training will be available in early May and must be completed by Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in order to participate as a volunteer.

Volunteers will receive a t-shirt, clear bag, and dinner.

Please keep in mind, masks are strongly recommended for all volunteers, staff, faculty, graduating students, and guests.
