Did you know CALS has a mentor program that not only allows you assist new and continuing students but also offers ongoing leadership and professional skill development opportunities. The CALS PALS Peer Mentor program has been active for over 12 years and growing. Consider mentoring a new CALS student during the 2022-2023 academic year!
Benefits of being a CALS PALS Peer Mentor

  *   Earn two to three units of upper division credit in CALS 393 or 493
  *   Earn a stipend at the end of the semester
  *   Complete a UA student engagement competency and activity
  *   Work closely with academic advisors in CALS
  *   Enhance your own personal and professional development skills
  *   Assist other students with academic and learning strategies
  *   Develop professional and meaningful relationships with student mentees
  *   Enhance your leadership skills with professional development opportunities
