The Bio/Diversity Project<https://biodiversityproject.arizona.edu/> is a collaborative effort with the Women in Science and Engineering Program (WISE), the Friends of Saguaro National Park, and Saguaro National Park. Together, we aim to increase the diversity of voices included in the discussion of environmental issues and the development of their solutions. Our goal is to ignite an interest in environmental sciences in University of Arizona students and support them throughout their education in the workforce. Our April panel series will engage our UArizona student community in fostering gender and racial equity within the environmental sciences and raising awareness of the need for Sonoran Desert biodiversity conservation.
