Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to let you know that we plan to post a D2L Global Announcement soon to emphasize to students the importance of getting vaccinated.

This announcement will show on all course sites and will include information about vaccine availability in the Tucson area and beyond. The message will also encourage students to upload their vaccination record to Campus Health and to take a brief survey, both of which will help us better understand our progress towards campus immunity.

My hope is that the University’s efforts to vaccinate as many students as possible will help set the stage for our return to normal operations this fall. Once students view the announcement, they will be able to dismiss the announcement. We plan to leave the announcement up for 7 days.

If you have questions about this D2L message or about our COVID efforts, please contact our Test, Trace, and Treat team at t3 at arizona.edu<mailto:t3 at arizona.edu?subject=>.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and support in promoting vaccination to our students. Thank you for helping to ensure the safety of our Wildcat community.
