[Agvisors] CALS Pulse Update

Greetings colleagues -

CALS Pulse was launched this semester to provide support to students and to get answers to our burning questions on what they are experiencing. Our goal is to promote student wellbeing - academically, emotionally, socially, and beyond. Overall, the response from those we have talked to has been positive.

I am pleased to present you with the results thus far. Going forward, you can look for an update each week that the survey is active with results to share. If you would like to promote the survey, please let me know and I can send the survey link out when its ready each week. Typically, undergraduate students receive an email on Wednesday morning with the link to the survey. It is also shared through the CALS Instagram.

Students who request or demonstrate an opportunity for further support receive outreach from the appropriate subject matter experts. Students are thankful that CALS cares about them. One student responded to the survey to say "I appreciate the effort being made to make sure students are OK, and ensuring that resources and faculty are available. Thank you!".

A big thank you to the planning team - Nancy Rodriguez-Lorta, Gabrielle Sykes-Casavant, Brian Berrellez, and Ryan Daily. We meet weekly to set the next week's theme(s) and welcome ideas, suggestions, and questions.
