Good morning Amanda, Juliana, & Serena!

I wanted to share an opportunity with y’all regarding a graduate school program.

The Transfer Student Center is collaborating with the USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship Program to share information about a great graduate school opportunity for the Fall 2021 semester.
This opportunity would be most beneficial to students interested in working in any Foreign Service field.
The fellowship encourages the application of members of historically underrepresented populations in international development careers and those with financial need.

Y’all came to mind because of your work with students who are still deciding their majors as well as the CALS Ambassadors, but if there are other advisors you think could disburse this information, please feel free to share! 😊

Attached is a flyer for transfer students to attend an information session on October 6th to learn more about the program. If you could share this with any transfer students you think would benefit from this session, that would be great!

Additionally, this might be a great opportunity for seniors interested in grad school, but aren’t necessarily transfer students. While the October 6th session is geared towards transfer students, seniors can still visit the Payne Fellowship site if they want to learn more information about how to apply!
