You are invited to two micro-workshops hosted by the Office of Leadership & Organizational Development on planning for furlough and Personal Flex Time as part of the weekly Leading From a Distance Series.

In the May 20th session (tomorrow), Clarifying Goals, learn how to set new goals for your unit as you adjust to changes in capacity and available work hours. In addition to receiving guidance on how to have conversations with your managers, direct reports, clients, and partners to clarify your unit's new scope and timelines, you will also be given four hands-on tools to help you with this process.

In the June 3rd session, Leveraging Strengths, learn how to identify and capitalize on the strengths of individuals in your unit as you figure out how to approach work differently and re-task projects to meet revised goals and timelines. Discussion will focus on creating accountability in a remote environment and helping your team members grow during adversity.

Micro-workshops take place Wednesday mornings from 9:00 – 9:30 am.

If you have already registered for the Leading From A Distance series, you do not need to register again. The Zoom link you have will work for both upcoming micro-workshops. Please note that the final two sessions are now being held on May 20th and June 3rd. Please add the June 3rd date to your calendar.
