Hello Agvisors!

We hope this email finds you well. We are 5 days away from our Agvisors Retreat Part II! In preparation for the retreat, we have some action items.

Your Semester in a Meme
We know this has been a semester for the books. We want see what your semester looks like in a meme. Email Serena<mailto:ssvalle at arizona.edu?subject=Meme%20for%20Retreat> by Tuesday at 8:30am a meme that represents your semester.

Academic Policy Knowledge Check
We are going to take some time to review and discuss policies. Between changes that occurred this, semester and recalling the everyday policies we want to utilize our combined Advising knowledge. Complete the attached Knowledge Check by our retreat on Tuesday.

Agvisors Time Capsule
This semester is one that we could not have imaged. We are living and witnessing a part of history. To document this we want to collaborate to create a time capsule. We will be utilizing power point to put together our Agvisors Time Capsule. Each of you will create your own power point and can include the prompts below on each slide. I am attaching a general template but feel free make your power point your own.

*         Include a picture from the first day of working from home (or close to the start).

*         What are some of your favorite pass times through the quarantine.

*         What have I learned most from this experience.

*         The three thinks I am most excited to do when this is over.

*         What has been the biggest challenge?

*         What are new ideas I have to interact with students.

*         Write a letter to yourself.
The content for our time capsule was inspired by the attached document. You can use it to help in your brainstorming process. Email advising at cals.arizona.edu<mailto:advising at cals.arizona.edu> with your power point by Friday, May 22nd. We will "open" the time capsules at the end of the Fall 2020 semester.
