Greetings Agvisors Team:
Thank you for the patience on the preschedules today. We had some minor hiccups but we managed to get through the first run of preschedules. You may have received email notifications when the preschedules were uploaded to the Box folder, but if not they are ready for review. The most updated schedules are saved with a number at the end of the file name (highest number reflects most recent). If there is only one pdf then refer to that one. If you request changes we'll save the final version with 'updated' in the file name (i.e. ACBS preschedules June 3 updated.pdf) prior to 12pm.
Updates:
* 30 of the 49 students enrolled for the June 3rd session are in the Schedule for Success (S4S) cohort. You may notice that some of your students are not in a major specific class due to schedule conflict with Math 100 or SAS100AX. Am awaiting for permission to swap students into different sections but if denied they will need to be referred to the S4S virtual helpdesk after advising. On a good note they are enrolled in a minimum of 12 units.
* The S4S cohort were not capped at 13 units in the preschedule run, and course drops also took place. We got through them and optimistic these minor hiccups won't take place in future sessions. Either way we make it work!
* Also, for this first session advising holds had to be manually removed prior to modifying the preschedules.
Please review the preschedules and address change requests by 9am, if any. If for some reason you do not get to submit changes, no worries. After their advising sessions refer them to the virtual registration lab that will take place in conjunction with CALS general advising drop ins from 1-4pm. This will give students the opportunity to interact with our CALS engaging Student Orientation Leaders (SOLs) and also get hands-on experience with the drop/add/swap functions in UAccess.
Keep us posted if we can be of any assistance - advising at cals.arizona.edu<mailto:advising at cals.arizona.edu> or via Teams IM. Look forward to welcoming the first freshmen cohort of Fall 2020. Best wishes on a successful orientation!
Best,
Nancy
