HI Danielle:

May the P/F option continue into fall 2020 for students who would prefer that option?

Kathleen

Good morning all,

I wanted to make sure you received this, sorry for the likely crossposting.

Sarah Kyte conducted an analysis that examines the adoption and impact on student success of the revised pass/fail policy in Spring 2020.

Takeaways:

  * 36% of students used the revised pass/fail policy in spring 2020, often in high DEW courses, and was a big win for students at this critical time according to a range of student success outcomes
  * No large differences were observed between student groups (FTFT status, residency, students of color, first-generation students, and Pell Grant recipients)
  * Seniors were far less likely compared to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to use the policy

Contact Sarah for any follow-up questions and she will connect with you upon her return from vacation.

Lucas
