COVID-Impacts on STEM Students: Findings and Policy Recommendations Webinar

Stephanie Murphy and Jill Williams will present findings and policy recommendations from a survey of nearly 500 STEM students conducted in May 2020. The survey examined COVID-related impacts on STEM student academic experiences; STEM persistence; and STEM career and professional development. Data was analyzed to identify overarching trends, as well as the degree to which particular populations are being impacted more significantly than others (click HERE <https://wise.arizona.edu/report-status-women-stem> to access survey reports). We anticipate spending approximately 30-40 minutes providing an overview of findings and policy recommendations in order to leave substantive time for discussion and questions.
