Hello Colleagues,
I am writing to let you know that applications are now being accepted for the 2020-2021 cohort of HSI Fellows. The purpose of the program is to develop ambassadors who are embedded in the campus and who can advance initiatives that foster servingness at our Hispanic Serving Institution now and into the future.
My experience has been filled with invaluable networking, mentoring and leadership training this year and I highly recommend it to those who are seeking an opportunity for personal and professional growth and more importantly, a supportive community to share in the work with.
The application and program details can be found here: https://diversity.arizona.edu/hsi-fellows. Applications are due by 3/27. Please note that you are required to obtain support from your supervisor because the program requires a 25% time commitment for the fall and spring semesters.
You can also read more about HSI initiatives at their new website which just launched! https://hsi.arizona.edu/
Please forward to colleagues if you have anyone in mind who could be a good fit. I am also happy to schedule a 1:1 to discuss my experience further if you are interested in getting more insight before applying.
Sincerely,
Ashlee Linares-Gaffer, MS, RDN
