Greetings Agvisors:

Below is the list of some students that missed a former orientation session. CAS advising team will cross reference our lists to not miss any and follow up with a phone campaign- if you have been tracking your student lists please send us an email with their names and session they missed, thanks.

We also had multiple 'no shows' today (8/20) per updated list Maria sent at 11:06. For today's session, students may check in with us later today following a reminder email sent to them right after the college meeting.  The CAS advising team will make you aware of any student that checks in late.  We've had 5 as of now (12pm).

As for the CALS students highlighted below we have already received an email from one (Alex Anawalt - PreNUSC) confirming they completed the D2L steps.  We'll send them a recording to the college meeting and refer them to connect with you to schedule an appointment. Please confirm with us after they meet with the respective major advisor so we can code them appropriately on our student lists and remove their advising hold.

We will use the same process for students that have missed either the college meeting or advising from a former orientation session that still have the intention to enroll this fall.  If a student reaches out directly to you, please copy us on the email you send the students at advising at cals.arizona.edu<mailto:advising at cals.arizona.edu>  You can also nudge us in Teams chat so we don't miss any students.

For students that we reach out to by phone (first), email (second) if we leave a message we will let them know they must follow up by Saturday 5pm, otherwise they will be considered a true no show.

Hello everyone,
Below is the list of students both domestic and global first year students who were either no-shows or new students in need of an orientation session.  All students have been updated accordingly and I have added the first year AMA hold on all accounts.  Some students who were no-shows for the August 14 & 18 sessions still have their pre-schedules.

At this point in time, students will not be able to change their major in the Digital Orientation tile but still need to confirm their major which will then add them to their D2L course.  We have also updated the information about advising for these students.

I have sent the students the email letting them know the Digital Orientation tile is available to them to complete.  The students are listed below.  If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
