Hello Advisors: A heads up that I'm emailing specific students who have previously opted-out of the CALS Emma platform. Most urgently to reach are the students for who are eligible for Honors Convocation (invites going out today by email) or at/near graduation. I wanted to share the message I'm sending (below) in case your students inquire about its legitimacy. I'd also be happy to cc individual major advisors if you'd like - just let me know.

My name is Gabrielle Sykes-Casavant; I'm the Assistant Director for Student Engagement & Retention in your college, the College of Ag & Life Sciences (CALS). My role in CALS is to connect our students to opportunities, events, and experiences that help you make the most of your time as a Wildcat! To achieve that, I often send email communication on behalf of the college. These emails have need-to-know info like the CALS Scholarship application, internships and jobs, and essential graduation info. The info sent by CALS is in addition to what you receive from your major advisor.

You'll then receive a confirmation email from the UA College of Ag & Life Sciences sent on behalf Nancy Rodriguez-Lorta, the director of academic advising for CALS. Confirm your email subscription and you're done!
