Hi Nancy and Amanda,

Thank you so much for inviting me (and feeding me!) to your Advising meeting last week. I really appreciated being able to connect with all of you!

I wanted to follow up with a couple of items that we talked about:

  1.  Study Abroad liaison for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences: Federico Guajardo, federicodg at email.arizona.edu<mailto:federicodg at email.arizona.edu> or 621-5385. Please reach out to Federico any time you need a point person. He's wonderful!

  1.  Resources for Academic Advisors: https://global.arizona.edu/study-abroad/academic-advisors-and-staff. I consider this to be a work-in-progress and would be very grateful for any feedback that your team may have. Above all, I want this spot to be helpful, so please keep in touch about it!

  1.  I have a meeting set up with our colleagues over in International Student Services (ISS) to chat a little bit more about UA International to see if a similar system would be possible for Study Abroad. I'll keep you posted.

Did I miss anything? It was lovely to meet all of you in person. Thanks so much for welcoming me!

Hi Lindsay,

I am including Nancy on this email as well in case she has any additional topics. The other I can think about is that it is possible for CEA and UA to come together and have a direct transfer program so that the units that will be transferring in as direct credit. That would be helpful to cover as well.

Thanks so much for getting back in touch! Yes, I would be glad to come! Are there topics that would be particularly helpful for me to talk about? Off the top of my head, I'm thinking that we can go over the transfer credit process and the internship process, since both of these can be confusing. Let me know if there are other topics that keep coming up for you that I can shed some light on. I'm happy to talk about anything!
