Greetings Agvisors:

Good afternoon. This is a great opportunity for university wide involvement.

As a friendly reminder, the college will continue to offer the CALS 195C class for incoming freshmen this fall term.  A stipend of $1000 will be part of the compensation per section.  If you have an interest in the CALS 195C class please let Amanda and I both know also by April 30. Thank you in advance for assisting and supporting students.

Note, students will only be enrolled in one success course their first term.  This first university wide success course will be a pilot as stated below, and uncertain if they have specific student populations in mind for enrollment purposes.  Further details will be shared as they become available.

Greetings Advisors:

As a part of the UA Strategic Plan, the university is considering adding a required course for all first-year students to improve students' transition to and overall success at the university. We are seeking applicants for the summer and fall 2019 school year during which this course will be developed, piloted, and assessed for the Fall 2019 semester. The College of Education seeks highly qualified graduate students and professional staff to develop the curriculum for this 1-unit course and teach one to three sections (approximately 19 students in each).
