Hello Transfer Wildcats,
Hope your second week of classes is off to a great start. This email contains information about a mixer event we are hosting next week and information on opportunities to be involved across campus. We have also our September newsletter for you to get an idea of what is coming next month!

You've probably heard that networking and meeting new people in college is important right? Well, this will be a fun and casual way to do just that. In addition, we will have Tucson's famous Eegees, games, and more! No RSVP is required, so just show up and have fun.

Call for 2018-2019 Student Advisory Board Members
Student Success & Retention Innovation
The mission of the Student Success & Retention Innovation (SSRI) Student Advisory Board (SAB) at the University of Arizona is to put students first through open discussion, evaluation and creation of initiatives that matter most to students and will help them be successful. SSRI's SAB members meet regularly with the SSRI Strategy Team to provide a student perspective in developing and refining strategic initiatives that align with the short and long-term goals of the university.
Membership Benefits
SAB members give back to the UA by working closely with SSRI to help increase the persistence and graduation of other fellow Wildcats.
Membership Requirements
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate at the University of Arizona and willing to participate throughout the 2018-2019 academic year on average 2-3 hours a month.
If you are interested in participating, please sign up by Sept. 10.

For our new Transfer Cats who are wondering what the TSC does, we serve prospective and current Wildcats, and we are committed to making your transition and time at the University of Arizona as pleasant as possible. We work to build a community that is welcoming to all of our students, and we host a wide range of social events throughout the semester. You will receive weekly emails from us informing you of what is going on at the TSC, UA, and the Tucson community.
