CALS Senior Speaker: Call for Submissions

The College of Agriculture & Life Sciences invites graduating students to submit for the honor of speaking in front of more than 2,000 students, friends and family at the CALS Graduation Convocation<https://cals.arizona.edu/events/cals-graduation-convocation> on Friday, May 11 at McKale Center.
Guidelines
To apply to be the student speaker, please write a 1 - 2 minute speech for delivery at the CALS Graduation Convocation. Your remarks ought to tell the audience what your education in CALS and the University has meant to you and what the future might hold for you and your classmates.
Process
Speeches will be reviewed by a committee of CALS academic advisors and faculty. Finalists will be asked to deliver their speech before the committee on Thursday, May 3, 2018 (UA Reading Day). The committee will then select the student speaker.
How to Submit
Send your speech via email to gms at email.arizona.edu<mailto:gms at email.arizona.edu> by the deadline: Sunday, April 29, 2018.

Leave your mark on the destinations map, cram your besties into the photo booth, hear from student speakers, enjoy hors d'oeuvres, and connect with faculty, academic advisors and classmates one last time! We'll take a class photo of all graduating seniors in attendance - dressy casual attire is recommended. Interested in being profiled in the CALS graduating student slideshow during the Senior Sendoff? If so, complete the three optional questions on the RSVP form and upload your senior year/graduation photo!
