Greetings Agvisors,

Attached is the Disability Resource Center (DRC) presentation provided by CALS liaison Barb Borich at the Agvisors meeting yesterday.  Her contact information is below.  This Fall 2017 term DRC has ~3000 students enrolled – 199 CALS undergraduates and 2 CALS graduate students.  CALS students may be referred to schedule an appointment with Barb by contacting the main line at 520-621-3268.

Also, if you plan to attend the CALS First Gen Success Mixer tomorrow Tuesday 10/24 from 5-6pm at the Forbes lobby please RSVP<https://goo.gl/forms/dQUzcjNiZU11lPI32>.  You can still RSVP as not attending but interested in supporting first generation students.  This first mixer event will not include students – that’s to come!  We plan to discuss ideas on how we can provide support. The original email was sent on 10/6 via the CALS bulletin as a reference.  Hope to see many of you there, and best wishes to those attending the Tucson College Night.

Midterm grades (Early Progress Grading) for first time FR can be seen by advisors and students via the UAccess Student Center (screenshots below). Refer to main page of UAccess Student Center – scroll down bar, select “Grades” – select tab “Early Progress Grading”.  Courses that with mid-term grades include: MATH112, CALS195C, CALS100X, ENGL101,102, 107, MIS111 and other success courses from SBS, LASC (CLAS and SCI), BNAD(Eller) numbered 195 or 197 and 100X.
