Greetings Agvisors,

Friendly reminder, the October Agvisors meeting is this Wednesday 10/18. Below is a tentative agenda. If you have other items to add please send my way.  We will have guest speakers from the Disability Resource Center and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Consortium (UROC).

Lunch will be catered by Beyond Bread with an assortment of sandwiches and chips.

[*]      Fall 2017 FR midterm grades



[*]      Transfer orientation for Fall 2018 admits planning



[*]      12:00-12:15pm - Guest speaker: Nura Dualeh, Director Undergraduate Research & Graduate Preparation Programs/Graduate Diversity Programs. Will present on UROC and other general undergraduate programs.



[*]      12:30-1pm - Guest speakers: Barb Borich, Access Consultant at Disability Resources Center and CALS liaison AND Hannah White, Graduate Assistant


Updates:

[*]      Degree Map Launch training: POSTPONED for some time in spring - no longer taking place on Nov. 14.

[*]      Second Start -  Fall 2017 readmits with last UA enrollment of Fall 2014 will be honored as qualifying for second start. Students will still need to meet the minimum 2.5 GPA in the first 12 earned units within a one year timeframe.

o   International: 1/5 (F) advising at 1pm (will be combined with TR orientation)
