October 26, 2015: Deadline to pay tuition ALL UNITS registered as of 8/20/2015 through 10/21/2015 without late charges.
November 1, 2015: Last day to withdraw from a class online through UAccess.
The complete withdrawal process is still available through the last day of classes.
November 2, 2015: Course withdrawals may be processed only with the approval of the student's college Dean on a Late Change Petition now through November 20th. Students must have an extraordinary reason for approval.
November 11, 2015: Veteran's Day, no classes.
November 17, 2015: $125.00 Unpaid Tuition Charge applied for unpaid tuition due 10/26/15.
November 26 - 29, 2015: Thanksgiving Recess, no classes.
December 9, 2015: LAST DAY OF CLASSES. No registration changes can be made after the last day of classes. Last day for complete withdrawal. Last day to submit a $25.00 Drop Fee Appeal form. Last day to submit a $250.00 Late Registration Fee appeal.
Spring 2016 Priority Registration Dates
October 12 - 18, 2015: Athletes, Veterans plus their dependents using GI Bill benefits, junior Honors students, and senior Honors students - You will be able to register beginning at 6am on 10/12/15 through 8pm on 10/18/15.

October 12, 2015: UA Online students - You will be able to register beginning at 6am on 10/12/15 and will have continuous access through the first week of classes.

October 19, 2015: Medicine, pharmacy, and graduate (degree seeking and non-degree seeking) students - You will be able to register beginning at 6am on 10/19/15 and will have continuous access through the first week of classes.

October 19 - 25, 2015: Seniors, post-baccalaureate education certification students, freshman Honors students, and sophomore Honors students - You will be able to register beginning 6am on 10/19/15 through 8pm on 10/25/15.

October 26 -November 1, 2015: Juniors - You will be able to register beginning at 6am on 10/26/15 through 8pm on 11/1/15.

October 26, 2015: National Student Exchange students - You will be able to register beginning at 6am on 10/26/15 and will have continuous access through the first week of classes.

November 2 - 8, 2015: Sophomores - You will be able to register beginning at 6am on 11/2/15 through 8pm on 11/8/15.

Undergraduate Field Mentors:
Commitments
- Mentor student participants in designing, carrying out, and presenting research projects for SARSEF. Training and research will be scheduled from October 2015 to March 2016.
- Pass background check and register fingerprints with UAPD
- Attend mandatory training events on the main University campus as well as the Santa Catalinas (transportation provided from campus)
Eligibility
Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Arizona for 2015-2016.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be primarily evaluated for the ability of the individual to communicate with and relate to participants, as well as experience participating in research. Background knowledge or a research connection to resources unique to Mt. Lemmon or the Sonoran Desert is helpful, but not necessary. Experience teaching or mentoring youth, as well as experience in the outdoors are helpful, but not required.

- Brief statement of interest, explaining your prior experience and qualifications, as well as your desired personal outcomes for the experience (one page limit)
- Curriculum vitae or résumé, including any relevant educational, outdoor, or research experience
- Letter of support from an undergraduate advisor, professor, or other person familiar with your work (can be sent under separate cover)

The Smithsonian Gardens provides an exceptionally well-rounded array of experiences in its intern program thanks to the wide diversity of services it offers to the Smithsonian, the world's largest museum complex. Interns will learn skills in a broad range of horticultural endeavors from SI's expert professional staff and can provide a strong practical background to emerging professionals hoping to enter the public gardening world.

We accept current and recently graduated undergraduate and graduate students studying horticulture, landscape architecture, museum studies, or other related fields. Selection is based on both an evaluation of the applicant’s application and available positions.

RICHARD A. HARVILL GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP

The mission of the Richard A. Harvill Endowment is to perpetuate knowledge of Dr. Harvill, who served as UA president from 1951 to 1971, a period in which UA began its furious post-war enrollment growth, and the institution took its place among the leading research universities of the west.

The award targets University of Arizona senior undergraduates, domestic or international, who have completed a bachelor's degree at the UA in May 2016, have an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have been admitted to a PhD program at the UA for Fall 2016.
The Fellowship provides an annual stipend of $12,000, disbursed in two equal payments between the fall and spring terms and a Graduate Tuition Scholarship that covers base graduate level tuition (not the differential tuition assessed by some programs) for each semester of award.

Award amount:
$12,000 plus full base tuition (excludes mandatory registration fees and student health insurance) for one year only.

Cooking on Campus is only $5 a class. All classes are from 5:15-6:30pm every other Tuesday at the Rec Center.

UROC-PREP and STAR
Is graduate school preparation on your to do list? Then apply now for the UROC-PREP or STAR program!

SPRING 2016: Students begin the program in the spring semester and enroll in a 3 unit reading and writing intensive course: GRAD 492: Directed Research, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 am to 9:15 am (no exceptions).

SUMMER 2016: Students work with a UA faculty mentor on a small scale research project in their field of study; complete a written research report, research poster, and oral presentation; are paid a $4,000 summer research stipend; complete GRE preparation and testing; have their abstract published in the UROC Abstract Review and more. For the summer, a full‐time commitment to all activities is expected of all students (no exceptions).

FALL 2016: Students are registered for a 1 unit graduate school preparation course, complete and submit applications to graduate school. For fall, all students must attend GRAD 496A: The Graduate School Application Process, Fridays, 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm (no exceptions).

A Parasitology Research Experience in the Czech Republic for University of Arizona Students!

Prozkoumat!
Spend 10 weeks in the Czech Republic conducting research under the mentorship of scientists at the Institute of Parasitology at the Czech Academy of Sciences (http://www.paru.cas.cz/en (http://www.paru.cas.cz/en/) ) in the city of Ceske Budejovice!
Research areas include protistology, helminthology, medical entomology, and more. This experience also includes a professional development seminar and cultural activities.

Participants in this program will receive round trip airfare from Arizona to the Czech Republic, room and board for 10 weeks, supplemental health insurance for the time spent abroad, and a stipend.

Prozkoumat! participants are required to take two courses during the spring 2016 semester in preparation for the trip:

- REQUIRED: This Wormy World (ACBS 195d)- time/day TBA.
- REQUIRED: Preparation for International Research Experience (MCB 396j)-
time/day TBA.
- STRONGLY RECOMMENDED: The Biology of Animal Parasites (MIC 403R)-

*Applicants who have already taken ACBS 195d, ACBS 403R, (Biology of Animal Parasites) can be excused from taking the respective course during the Spring 2016 by showing proof that they completed and passed the course in an earlier semester.*

- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- From a health disparity population, which is defined as African American, Hispanic, Native American, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and the medical under served from disadvantaged individuals in rural and urban areas (federal poverty guidelines apply and tax return will be required to establish eligibility for those claiming disadvantaged status)
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States
