Hi,

Please utilize the placement chart posted at
http://w3.math.arizona.edu/files/academics/placement%20chart.pdf
to help with advising students .

The Prep for College ALgebra test (CALG/PCLG) does not place a student into
calculus (125 or 122A/B) .

The Prep for Calculus test (PCAL/PPCL) places students into Math 125 and below.

Review and retesting information information can be found through the Math Placement
link in the NExt Steps Center.

Students do not need to see a math advisor to add a math class or change a class
if they already have the correct test score, or if they saw a placement advisor
at lunch regarding transfer credit. Please direct these students to just change their
schedule.
