Please utilize the placement chart posted at <br>

to help with advising students .<br>
<br>
The Prep for College ALgebra test (CALG/PCLG) <b>does not</b> place a student into<br>
calculus (125 or 122A/B) .<br>
<br>
The Prep for Calculus test (PCAL/PPCL) places students into Math 125 and below. <br>
<br>
Review and retesting information information can be found through the Math Placement<br>
link in the NExt Steps Center.<br>
<br>
Students do not need to see a math advisor to add a math class or change a class<br>
if they already have the correct test score, or if they saw a placement advisor<br>
at lunch regarding transfer credit. Please direct these students to just change their<br>
schedule. <br>
