Does your academic advisor deserve special recognition for his or her outstanding work?  Then nominate your advisor for a university-wide advising award!

The nomination process is simple!

  *   Write a short statement that describes why your academic advisor deserves to be recognized and the characteristics that distinguishes him or her as outstanding.  Send your nomination statement to:  advising at email.arizona.edu<mailto:advising at email.arizona.edu> no later than 5:00 pm on February 27, 2015.
  *   Include your academic advisor's name and your full name and contact information. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your nomination.

Wildcat Promise dates will be the same:

Fall 2015 Priority Registration
The Fall 2015 Schedule of Classes will be available March 2, 2015. Students will be able to use their shopping carts and view their Enrollment Appointments in UAccess on March 2, 2015 as well. http://registrar.arizona.edu/schedule2154/rsvp/rsvp.htm
 Priority Registration Schedule: Your class standing can be seen in UAccess under the “Academics” tab; however, you should
ALWAYS OBSERVE YOUR ASSIGNED ENROLLMENT PERIOD, WHICH WILL BE POSTED ON THE RIGHT COLUMN UNDER “ENROLLMENT DATES” NO LATER THAN THE FIRST WEEK IN MARCH.

Do not wait until the last minute to ask for help planning your spring schedule- Waiting to come in for advising until the week you are supposed to enroll is the last minute.
(THE WALK IN INFORMATION BELOW MAY NEED TO BE MODIFIED, IT’S JUST A BEST PRACTICE YOU MAY BE INTERESTED IN USING).
A few things about walk-ins:
•         Walk-ins are seen on a first-come first-served basis.
•         Walk-ins are for issues which can be addressed fairly quickly- 15 minutes or less. If you will need longer than that please schedule an appointment. If you are not sure if walk-ins or an appointment is appropriate, email me explaining your circumstance and I will let you know whether an appointment is necessary.
•         Walk-ins end promptly at the time posted on Wise Advising. The last walk-in appointment will typically be taken 10-15 minutes before the posted end-time.
•         Walk-in times are subject to change (in the event of meetings or unforeseen events). Be sure to check Wise Advising prior to coming for walk-ins for the most current schedule)

A few things about appointments:
•         Please cancel your appointment through UAccess or email me regarding your cancellation prior to your schedule appointment time if you do not plan to attend.
•         Please arrive on time- Arriving late may result in needing to re-schedule.
•         Come prepared- If you need any forms or paperwork signed, bring it with you with your personal information already filled out.

Medicine, pharmacy, and graduate (degree seeking and non-degree seeking) students – You will be able to register beginning at 6am on 3/30/15 and will have continuous access through the first week of classes.





March 30 - April 5, 2015

Seniors, post-baccalaureate education certification students, freshman Honors students, and sophomore Honors students - You will be able to register beginning at 6am on 3/30/15 through 8pm on 4/5/15.

These experiential learning opportunities allow students to develop unique technologies in a lab setting.  Opportunities span many different academic fields.  Any self-motivated student who is interested in challenging themselves in development of existing research-based technology should apply.
