A new process to submit a GRO request will be available in UAccess Student
beginning tomorrow! The current online GRO form will no longer be required.

 

A "gro" tab has been added in UAccess Student Center for undergraduate
students only. Students will be required to accept the GRO Policy terms at
the beginning of the process. Courses that are eligible for GRO will appear
at the beginning of the term and students will only be able to select a
course for GRO during the open filing period. GRO filing dates appear next
to each eligible course. Only one GRO may be processed at a time. The system
will automatically qualify the student and will immediately apply the
Potential GRO code to the course. If the student encounters any problems or
has questions they are directed to contact the Registration and Transcripts
Office.

 

The Registrar's website will direct students to this new process beginning
tomorrow morning. I have attached a brief tutorial that will help guide
students through the process of submitting a GRO request and provides FAQs.
The tutorial will also be available on the website.

 

Summer Session II will be the first session under this new process. I want
to mention that while the filing dates for fall and spring terms remain the
same as before--four weeks-the filing dates for summer and winter terms will
be shorter. Students who intend to file a GRO for Summer Session II will
have only 3 days to submit their request. This time frame is proportional to
a 16 week term and is being driven by a standard deadline in UAccess.
