Need some volunteer hours?

Coming up on Wednesday, February 19, Body Smart is hosting its Fair on the UA Mall! Much like last year, there will be dozens of tables of various student groups along with local eating disorder treatment centers, all who will present interactive ways to encourage UA students to express their sense of self-worth and positive body image.

During the fair, we will be conducting Health Body Image Screenings to gather information about eating disorder trends on campus. Students will be asked to complete a 5-6 minute, anonymous and confidential survey, from which the results will be submitted to a National Databank.

We are looking for 15 – 20 volunteers to help in conducting these surveys any time 10AM to 2PM on February 19. In order to help, volunteers must attend a mandatory training session on Wednesday, February 12 from 4-5pm in the Student Union (room reservation to be announced). As a thank you for your help, all volunteers will be entered to win a prize from a small raffle of volunteer names only.

If you are available to volunteer, please contact Alexis Moore at alexismoore at email <mailto:alexismoore at email.arizona.edu>
.arizona.edu ASAP with your name, email, cellphone number, and times you would like to volunteer (preferably a 2-hour block). Additionally, please let us know if you are representing any specific club or organization!

Attention Pre-Med students!

Are you thinking of applying to medical school, but not sure how to go about it?

UA College of Medicine Information Session

We encourage people from all stages of the process to attend- whether you've just started considering medicine, or you're ready to submit your AMCAS this summer! Light refreshments will be provided.
