What is Enactus?

Enactus stands for entrepreneurs in action for the greater good. We are a group of dedicated students using our education to improve the quality of life of those around us, protect our planet, and help business owners maximize their profitability. By focusing on our own passions, we are able to make a difference. We take action within our community to improve the lives and livelihood of others. Some examples of our UA Enactus projects: 

*	We're helping a group of refugee women form a catering/home baking company that will eventually train other women in culinary skills needed to find work. 
*	We're helping a local non-profit revamp their store and increase their revenues to serve women and children in need in our community. 
*	We're working with a local community organization to recycle the components of a common safety item that usually ends up in a landfill-- making our community safer for kids and improving our environment.
*	We're investigating how we can support a Rwandan woman to develop a business that will fund her education and allow her to protect the endangered species and support sustainable eco-tourism in her country. 
*	We're working with a major institute at the University of Arizona to help share their message about an important health concern with Spanish speakers working for local small businesses.
*	What are you passionate about? We have the resources and potential to do so much more with your help! 

Our work culminates with a  <http://terryjlundgrencenter.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=bea846630eb7784daf209b3cd&id=449d37ac3e&e=386ed9c328> competition against schools across the nation to see who made the greatest impact at the end of each academic year.

*	You are willing to work hard while bonding with your team and helping others achieve their goals.
