STUDENT AFFAIRS SNAPSHOT: CONTRBUTING TO THE HOLISTIC HEALTH OF STUDENTS ON
SEPTEMBER 19
The Student Affairs Professional Development Committee is excited to
announce the next session in the Snapshot series which offers a candid look
inside Student Affairs! Each Snapshot session features presentations from
various Student Affairs department insiders including staff, faculty, and
directors and will take place in a relaxed atmosphere where discussion of
your ideas and suggestions is encouraged. These events will give university
community members the opportunity to learn first-hand about the variety of
exciting developments taking place within Student Affairs.

      

Thursday, September 19, 2013
          9:00 - 11:30 a.m.

                Registration Begins at 8:30 a.m.

          SUMC North Ballroom

The units featured in our second Snapshot session support the institution
through a focus on the freshmen year experience and supporting the whole
student. Each area supports all students, but in particular new students as
they make their transition to the university environment.

Contributing to the Holistic Health of Students will highlight the work of
the following units:

.         9:00-9:10      Welcome 

.         9:10-9:30      Residential Education

.         9:30-10:00     Dean of Students

.         10:00-10:20   Disability Resource Center

.         10:20-10:40   Academic Success and Achievement

.         10:40-11:00   Campus Health

.         11:00-11:25   Speaker Panels

.         11:25            Closing Remarks
