All,
  Once again, here are the dates for freshmen orientation.  I have also attached the math placement info.


Summer 2013 Orientations

Dates: May 29, 31, June 4, 6, 10, 12, 14, 18, 20, 24, 26, 28, August 16, 20

               College Meeting: 9:45-11:00am

               **Advising: 2:15pm

               Schedule Changes: 3:00pm

Out of State Sessions: New York 4/14, Chicago 4/20, Seattle 4/27

Honors Two Day Programs: Honors Session will follow the UA Program

*        May 31-June1, June 4-5, June 14-15, June 20-21, August 16-17
SALT Dates:

*        Out-of-state: 4/14 New York and 4/20 Chicago

*        Summer: (Session will proceed one day program) 5/30, 6/3, 6/5, 6/11, 6/13, 6/19. 8/21 (This program will fall after the one day)

New Start Only Program: Tuesday, June 18th

International Orientation Dates: Thursday, August 15th, advising at 1pm

Transfer Students: after students meet with the advisor for the 1-on-1 Orientation, send an email, fax or copy of the advising verification form to Forbes 211 (Kristen) so the advising hold can be removed. Fax is 621-8662 * email kgeary at email.arizona.edu<mailto:kgeary at email.arizona.edu>. Students still have to complete the Student Academic Preview through the Next Steps Center in order to be eligible to register.



o   All students must complete the tour to be matriculated (this is what will also give them an enrollment appointment). Students are charged a $30 fee to their Bursar's account - this is a good way for students to identify whether or not they did officially complete the Student Academic Preview.



o   Second Language testing is now on-line via the Next Steps Center Student Academic Preview (French, German, Latin, Spanish and Russian).
