Greetings Agvisors:
Below are email reminders that Kristen Geary sent to all incoming freshmen
and transfer students. The UA Clicks Session is required for freshman and
optional (but beneficial) for transfer students.
As a reminder, save the date and time (12pm) to join us all at the CALS
Alumni Mixer Event which will take place following the UA Clicks Session.
Let us know if you have any questions and thanks in advance for assisting in
welcoming the new CALS Wildcats!
Bear Down,
Nancy

Wildcat Welcome - August 23-30, 2013
Hello CALS Freshmen! Remember to mark your calendars!
August 23: MANDATORY UA Clicks Session & CALS Welcome Celebration
Social Sciences Room 100, 10:45AM
Check-in starts at 10AM; you must bring your CatCard!
UA Clicks is a required program for all new Wildcats which helps you to
learn what to expect on the first day of class. We will be introducing you
to the systems and technology your faculty will use in and out of the
classroom and you will get tips on what to do to be prepared for college
life. And don't forget your CatCard! We will be checking you in to the
event, and you'll need the card to be marked as present.
Immediately following the UA Clicks session, the College of Agriculture and
Life Sciences (CALS) Alumni Council and Office of Career & Academic Services
will be hosting a Welcome Celebration to welcome you to CALS and the
University. FREE lunch will be provided, CALS club representatives will be
there to talk with any students interested in membership, and advisors will
be there to answer questions. There will also be music, tailgate games and
a photo booth to celebrate and commemorate your first day on campus!
Information on events taking place after August 23, including the new
student workshops, will be sent to your UA email address within the next few
weeks, so please stand by for updates.
Please contact Nancy Rodriguez Lorta (nancyr at email.arizona.edu) or Kristen
Geary (kgeary at email.arizona.edu) if you have any additional questions.
We look forward to welcoming you as a Wildcat!
