Greetings Agvisors:

 

Please continue to send an advising verification form (or email
verification) to Forbes 211 for STU210 students and any other transfer
student you meet with so we can add them to our college database.  For the
departments that complete the transfer orientation at the department level
(students only meet with major advisor), note that our office has updated
the Transfer Packet with Spring 2013 dates and deadlines and other edits.
Call our office at 621-3616  to request copies (they can be picked up in
Forbes 211, mailed via campus mail, or arrangements can be made to have them
delivered).

 

Thanks to all for your hard work and enthusiasm in welcoming the new
transfer students!  

 

I left the message below for your reference, but in Forbes 211 we will make
sure to catch this information since we release the advising hold (service
indicator) once we receive the advising verification form (or email
confirmation) from the advisors.

Hello Advisors:

Yesterday a couple of advisors contacted me with regards to STU 210 students
who did not have enrollment appointments in their Student Center.  Paul
Miller, one of the course instructors, coordinates a team of experts who
stand ready to address issues with STU 210 students.  

If you come across a problem with a STU 210 student, such as the case of a
missing enrollment appointment, please send the student name and SID to
Karen Hale (krosales), or me (catts), and we will pass it along to the team.
We will follow-up with you as soon as an answer is available.
