Hello UPAC List,

 

As part of ongoing suicide prevention efforts at the Campus Health Service,
I wanted to share a new online program we have started using called Kognito
that offers practice reaching out to students who may be dealing with mental
health issues.  The staff/faculty course (login info below) takes about 45
min. to complete and is geared to those without mental health expertise.
Feel free to share this with others here at UA and please note the separate,
student-specific course and link below.


This highly interactive program allows you to make decisions and choose
dialogue on behalf of characters/avatars you assume - we think you'll find
it very interesting and informative!

 

The training is available only until December 31st,  2012, but that date may
be extended.
