[Agvisors] Summer 2012 New Student Orientations

Greetings Agvisors:

 

This email includes a summary of the Summer 2012 New Student Orientations.

 

.         Orientation dates: May 25, June 1, 4, 6, 8/9 (Friday/Saturday),
12, 14/15, 19, 21/22, 25, 27, 29, August 10, 14

.         For sessions with 2 days (i.e. 8/9) advising will take place on
2nd day (on the 9th with the example given)

 

.         College Meeting is scheduled from 9:45-11:00am. CALS college
meeting will be at McClelland Park Room 105

 

.         Class Schedule Review (Advising) 2:30-4:00pm

 

.         Change of Schedule at ILC 3:00-5:00pm. Students will also have all
summer to make schedule changes. It is convenient for them to visit the ILC
for schedule changes the day of their orientation since orientation leaders
and some advisors across campus will be there to assist students with
UAccess (on how to make the schedule changes).

 

.         Student Pre-Schedules will be delivered or faxed to the listed
advisor for each session prior to 2:30pm.

 

.         For your reference: Orientation Student fee: $330 enrollment
deposit (out of state orientation students will pay an additional $125);
Parent fee: $210. 

 

Attached are the Orientation Schedule-at-a-Glance for Students and Parents.

 

I have also attached the list of students signed up as of today for the May
25 and June 1 sessions. Please verify with Maria Bueno
(mbueno at cals.arizona.edu) that the advisor listed is the correct one for
each session.
