Re:                   Saundra Taylor University Citizen Award

 

Student Affairs is pleased to announce that nominations are being accepted
for the Saundra Taylor University Citizen Award. Dr. Taylor, warmly known as
Saunie, was Vice President for Campus Life from 1992-2006.  Saunie was well
known for her values of collaboration, team work and innovation that
benefited students and served as the catalyst for change.  It is these
values that are the basis for the criteria upon which the award is based.

 

Saunie was a role model for all professionals at The University of Arizona.
She embodied the qualities of what a good university citizen is - someone
who works for the good of the university and its students, regardless of
direct benefit to themselves or their department.

 

One recipient will be a university staff member and the other recipient will
be a student.  Each winner will receive $500 and a plaque recognizing their
achievement as a Saundra Taylor University Citizen Award winner.

 

Nomination forms and instructions are below following this memo.
Nominations are due September 28, 2012. Please email completed nomination
forms to James Miller at miller2 at email.arizona.edu.
