Each year we have a new group of diverse students who join our campus
community with the hopes of finding their place at the UA. Through the
office of African American Student Affairs, we try to provide a familial
atmosphere for students interested in experiencing African American
community and culture while pursuing academic excellence here at the UA.

Please join us for food, music and poetry by attending the AASA Open House
on August 29th 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Martin Luther King Jr.
Building Student Center (1322 E. 1st Street).

Invited guests include:

The University of Arizona President's African American Advisory Council

The University of Arizona Black Alumni

The Africana Studies Department

The Barbea Williams Performance Company

Movement, A Spoken Word Performance Group
