Yes, as you may have noticed with the go live of the Spring 2012 there have
been several enhancement made to the Class Search.
. The default Term is now set to the most current Fall or Spring
Schedule of Classes. So hopefully this will reduce the need to change the
term.
. The common search fields of Course Title Keyword, Mode of
Instruction and Class Attributes have been made more visible to make
searching easier.
. You can now select two Class Attributes in your search.
. New fields of Class Attribute Value have been added to make this
search easier. Let me try to explain this new feature. The Class
Attribute is the type of search you need and the Class Attribute Value
narrows that search. For example, if you choose the Class Attribute of
General Education, you will also need to choose a Class Attribute Value like
Diversity Emphasis, Tier 2 Arts, etc. You should try it out, it is much
easier to do than to explain.
. Course Fees and Class Attributes have been added to the Search
Results page so you don't have to click on each course section to see which
ones have other class attributes you are looking for, such as honors.
. Course Fees are now displayed on the Course Detail page as well.
I hope you and your students find these new enhancement useful.

Hey, I noticed that the course attributes are more visible in the Schedule
of Classes course search, and that you can now select two attributes, so
students can (for example) identify a Tier 2 Honors NATS. This makes things
much easier.
