Hi colleagues,

 

I get regular requests from faculty and advisors asking for lists of Honors
students in a particular major or minor. 

 

I don't mind generating and sending a list of students when requested, but
I'm wondering if departments know that they can get this information
themselves. One concern I have is that any list I pull is only accurate as
of the prior day, and students are dropping and joining Honors all year. If
a department  wants to create a listserv of Honors students, for example, it
would likely be inaccurate if it's based on a list that I created.

 

So please spread the word in your colleges that Honors status is easily
identifiable in Analytics. It's in CSW Student Records under Demographics.
The column is Honors Status, and by entering the operator "is not equal to"
and putting "-" [representing "null" or "empty"] in the value box, all
Honors-active students will be included in the query.
