SOCIAL MEDIA REQUEST

Faculty and staff,

We need you to "like" us on Facebook!  We are doing our best to get the 
word out via social media about all the great programs we have, the 
publications we put out and all the great people involved, but we***NEED 
yo**u *to help us!

The purpose of our Facebook page is primarily to raise awareness about 
UA Cooperative Extension and have a visible presence in a social media 
environment increasingly used by current and potential future clientele. 
In this sense it complements other tools (e.g., the Extension website), 
but does not attempt to replicate or replace them. The idea is to 
highlight successes, bring in interesting developments related to our 
programs, share our information and now and then add more lighthearted 
content.

We encourage all of you to like/share/comment and if you are a subject 
expert, to help us out with questions or comments when appropriate.  We 
can't catch everything so we also need you to alert us if you have 
something you want posted on the site.  Please go to

have a few faculty helping administer the page (thank you Barron, Dan, 
Cathy) and we welcome others.  Please contact Sheila Merrigan
