TECH TIP OF THE WEEK:
A recent Tech Tip talked about keyboard shortcuts. Here are some more, for
your browser. To scroll down one screenful on a Web page, hit the space
bar. To scroll up one screenful, use Shift + space bar. To jump to the
address bar, use Alt + D. If you are going to a .com URL, just enter the
site name (e.g., Google) and hit Ctrl + Enter to add the .com and go. In
some browsers, Shift + Enter adds .net instead, and Shift + Ctrl + Enter
adds .org. When filling out an online form, use your Tab key to jump
forward to the next box. To jump back, use Shift + Tab.
SOCIAL MEDIA SURVEY:
Have you been using social media for UACE?! Why or why not? Let us know!
In an effort to hear everyone's voice on this topic, Sheila Merrigan and
Molly DeCleene (AmeriCorps VISTA) have created a survey
<http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/8RR77QY> that will be used to evaluate
social media use in Extension and hopefully provide better resources to a
wider audience. We need to hear from you whether or not you currently use
social media in your work. We appreciate your taking the time to respond to
the survey <http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/8RR77QY> !
