FOCUS ON PROGRAMS:
The Arizona Osteoporosis Coalition and Bone Builders are teaming up with
Best Bones Forever! and pop recording group Savvy to show girls how fun
physical activity can be by sponsoring the Let's Dance contest in Arizona.
The deadline to upload their dance routine is fast approaching on August 10.
Girls between the ages of 9 and 18 are invited to grab their friends,
choreograph a dance routine to one of five free, 90-second Savvy songs from
the BBF website <http://www.bbfletsdance.com/> , videotape themselves
performing the routine, then upload the video to the contest website for a
chance to appear in a Savvy music video in Los Angeles. Visit the website
for contest details. Finalists will be introduced at the August 10 AZ
Diamondbacks' game. Details on ordering tickets for the DBacks' game are at
the Bone Builders web site <http://www.bonebuilders.org/> .
REVISED STRATEGIC PLAN PROGRAM AREAS:
CALS has revised its six strategic plan program areas as of the 2010-2020

These percentages are reported in the Position Description (Item A). The
changes are:
- "Environment and Natural Resources" is now "Environment, Water, Land,
Energy, and Natural Resources"
- "Family, Youth, and Community" is now "Children, Youth, Families, and
Community"
- "Human Nutrition, Food Safety, and Health" is now "Human Nutrition, Health
and Food Safety"
- "Marketing, Trade, and Economics" is now "Consumers, Marketplace, Trade,
and Economics"

"Animal Systems" remains unchanged.
