The papers were titled “<a href="http://www.slideshare.net/lsmasters/are-participatory-methods-sustainable"><span style='color:windowtext'>Are Participatory Extension Projects Sustainable?”</span></a> and “<a href="http://www.slideshare.net/lsmasters/lmasters-evolution-presentation"><span style='color:windowtext'>The Evolution of Extension Research and Education Methods from Colonialism to Participatory</span></a>.” Coauthors for the first paper included <b>Sabrina Tuttle</b>, <b>Cathy Martinez</b>, <b>Kristine Uhlman</b>, <b>Juanita Waits</b>, <b>Grey Farrell,</b> and <b>Melvina Adolf</b> (formerly UA). The deadline to upload their dance routine is fast approaching on August 10. Girls between the ages of 9 and 18 are invited to grab their friends, choreograph a dance routine to one of five free, 90-second Savvy songs from the <a href="http://www.bbfletsdance.com/">BBF website</a>, videotape themselves performing the routine, then upload the video to the contest website for a chance to appear in a Savvy music video in Los Angeles. As faculty report their percentage work in each of these areas for their APR, APROL has now been updated to reflect the changes. These percentages are reported in the Position Description (Item A). The Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program, the Specialty Crop Research Initiative, the Organic Research and Extension Initiative, and the Organic Transitions Program all solicit applications that use a systems approach and trans-disciplinary teams to meet challenges faced by producers and consumers. The program will be hosted live on The University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville; however, participants have the option of viewing a live webcast, or accessing an archived version for post-workshop viewing.
