<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span class="" style="font-size:10.5pt">An exciting highlight for the coming Field Day & EXPO will be to see and hear George Toma, the legendary sports turf manager of the Super Bowl fields, who will be sharing his professional experiences.
Additionally, Chuck White, sports turf manager of the Hall of Fame Stadium turf for the Women’s College World Series will describe his work in Oklahoma. </span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span class="" style="font-size:10.5pt">Register now to attend the </span><a href="http://turf.arizona.edu/" class="" style="font-size:10.5pt"><span class="" style="color:blue">Baseball Field Turfgrass Management Field Day & EXPO</span></a><span class="" style="font-size:10.5pt"> on
Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018 at Sloan Park in Mesa. The spring training home of the Chicago Cubs, Arizona Sports Turf Managers Association, and The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Turfgrass Program will host and conduct the annual Field Day
& EXPO. An expanding EXPO is anticipated to have more allied turf industry representatives displaying and demonstrating products and equipment.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span class="" style="font-size:10.5pt">All turf managers and professionals from schools, community colleges, municipalities or other turf facilities are encouraged to attend and bring along coaches, supervisors, and administrators.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span class="" style="font-size:10.5pt">Topics of interest will include infield skins, mounds, batter’s box maintenance; irrigation system maintenance; painting and striping; weeds and pest management.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span class="" style="font-size:10.5pt">One (1) CEU for pesticide applicator license holders has been approved by the AZ Dept of Ag and DPM .</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span class="" style="font-size:10.5pt">Lunch and refreshments will be provided. </span></p>
