Spring Short Course Turf 101 Update:
Good news! Based on pre-registrations received so far, we have decided to move forward with the course. Registration and payment is open through March 15, and can be accessed here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ua-turfgrass-program-spring-short-course-turf-101-tickets-539752061947.
Course description: This half-day (4 hours) short course "Turf 101" will be offered on March 30th, 2023 1-5 pm, at the Maricopa County Cooperative Extension Office, 4341 E. Broadway Rd., Phoenix. Topics will include turfgrass spring transition and establishment, summer weed and insect pest management. If you have new hands in the field that need a quick overview of Arizona turf best practices, or any of your crew need a refresher before spring transition, this is a great opportunity. 4 CEUs (AG and PMD) will be applied for.
