A timely Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Short document about false chinch bugs has been issued by UArizona extension entomologists, Naomi Pier, Eugene Hall, and Peter Ellsworth. This IPM Short describes a pest of cotton as it migrates across some turfgrass areas. The non pest of turfgrass has shown increased activity with the onset of high temperatures. As the desert vegetation dries up, the false chinch bugs migrate and make a short pit stop in turfgrass areas. The Short can be viewed by clicking here<https://acis.cals.arizona.edu/docs/default-source/ipm-shorts/FCBcotton>
