Mark your calendar and plan to attend the Baseball Field Turfgrass Management Field Day & EXPO<http://turf.arizona.edu> on Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018 at Sloan Park in Mesa.  The spring training home of the Chicago Cubs, Arizona Sports Turf Managers Association, and The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Turfgrass Program will host and conduct the annual Field Day & EXPO.  An expanding EXPO is anticipated to have more allied turf industry representatives displaying and demonstrating products and equipment.
All turf managers and professionals from schools, community colleges, municipalities or other turf facilities are encouraged to attend and bring along coaches, supervisors, and administrators.
An invitation to a special guest speaker is being worked out.  Topics of interest will include overseeding and transition; infield skins, mounds, batter’s box maintenance; irrigation system maintenance; painting and striping; weeds, diseases, pest management.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Continuing education credits for pesticide applicators have been applied for AZ Dept of Ag and DPM.
